Welcome to Motel Leo

Motel Leo, located at 10021 NB-144 in Saint-André Parish, New Brunswick, offers a practical and straightforward lodging option for travelers along the Trans-Canada Highway. Rated 3.4, this motel appeals primarily to road trippers, singles, and couples seeking a clean and comfortable place to rest without unnecessary frills. The establishment’s charm lies in its old-school ambiance combined with recent updates, such as new flooring, shower curtains, linens, and brand-new smart TVs, which reflect a blend of nostalgia and modern convenience.

Guests consistently highlight the friendly and efficient staff who go above and beyond, especially when accommodating larger families or late arrivals. Cleanliness stands out as a strong point, with many reviewers noting well-maintained rooms that provide a refreshing escape after a long day on the road. Air conditioning and reliable Wi-Fi enhance the overall comfort, while free parking adds to the convenience for visitors driving through the region.

Though Motel Leo does not offer breakfast, a restaurant, or fitness facilities, its location near the Grand Falls Museum and town center makes it an excellent base for brief stays or quick stopovers. The motel’s no-frills approach means no pet accommodations or airport shuttles, but the smoke-free and kid-friendly environment caters well to families traveling with children.

While some guests note smaller room sizes and the absence of in-room refrigerators — a minor inconvenience for travelers carrying their own food — the value for the price remains appealing. The distinct, yet familiar “motel aroma” and modest amenities do not detract from the overall positive experience. Instead, these elements contribute to Motel Leo’s authentic roadside motel atmosphere, a comforting constant for many seasoned travelers.

In essence, Motel Leo stands as a dependable, affordable option for those traversing New Brunswick, balancing tradition with thoughtful updates. It may lack luxury, but it provides exactly what it promises: a clean, welcoming stop with attentive service, ensuring a restful night’s sleep before the road calls again.

We got exactly what we expected and paid for. The price was very good. The staff was friendly and efficient. The whole facility is very 'old school' and small rooms, amenities etc. There is an aroma that we always associate with motel rooms no worse than any other and even some newer larger hotels offer the same aromas. But very clean. Great for a single or couple for a quick night stop.

This was our halfway point on our road trip home, and I have to say I was extremely impressed with the service, cleanliness and accommodations of this place. The staff was super friendly, the rooms were quite large, they have AC and they just purchased brand new smart TVs for all the rooms. The whole experience was quite swell. The owner told us to try this really quaint Italian restaurant down the street and it was fantastic. The whole town is very nice

Arrived here late after a whole day driving from Ontario. We didn't have a reservation and just arrived to check availability. The staff at the desk was amazing! Accommodated us as best as possible without a reservation (difficult anywhere with a family of five). Bit disappointed that none of the rooms offered fridges as we were travelling with coolers of food to save some money on the road. They did offer however, to put our food in the fridge that belonged in the hotel kitchen. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, although a bit dated. The rooms had all new flooring which didn't include carpet which is nice in a hotel. The breakfast in the morning was amazing!!! It was included and one of the best included breakfasts I have ever seen at a hotel. It included, eggs, bacon, beans, waffles, cereal, coffee, tea, toast, bagels, muffins, etc. The owners of the hotel were amazingly friendly and we definitely would stay here again on our way through!!! I consider it a hidden gem and recommend it to anyone!

After a long day of driving, we were greeted by a very friendly, personable young man. The room was very large, clean and looked like it had been recently renovated with new flooring , shower curtain, and linens. The a/c was great, TV and Wifi worked and we had an excellent nights sleep . We would certainly stay here again.

Very good service. Even though it not fancy it was very comfortable. We stayed here in 2023 on our trip back from NL and got a good night sleep. This year we stayed on our way to PEI with 5 kids and also had a great sleep as well as a decent continental breakfast. Stayed on the way back from PEI and called a few hours before and they got us a good room with a pull out so that we could all sleep comfortably. Very accommodating and comfortable when passing through Grand Falls New Brunswick
